In fence producing step, there’s usually a surface treatment after the product is accomplished to increase the service life of the metal fence.
If you are choosing a metal fence, there’s about five types of the metal surface finishing method for you to choose: electric galvanized, electric galvanized + polyester powder coated, electric galvanized + PVC coated, pre hot dipped galvanized, hot dipped galvanized. Different surface treatment may give the product different appearance and will have effect on the usage of the product.
To let you have a better understand on the metal surface finishing. I’d like to show you the difference of the different metal surface finishing.
Electric galvanized: Also called cold galvanized, is the surface treatment we do not use alone very usual. It will give the product a zinc coating mass for about 8-12g/m2, a rather low zinc coating mass, which may cause the product rusted easily.
Electric galvanized + polyester powder coated: This is the metal surface finishing you may find very often. As we have listed before, the electric galvanized may give the product a rather lower zinc coating mass. But with the polyester powder coated, about 0.15mm thickness plastic layer, the coating performance may much increased. And, with this metal surface finishing, the product may also be given a colorful performance, which may impressed you.
Electric galvanized + PVC coated: Different with the polyester powder coated surface finishing, this treating method will give the fence a rather thicker plastic layer, about 0.8-1.2mm. What’s more it will ignore the question polyester powder coated product caused, it can be rolled well, while the polyester powder coated fence do not suit to roll, that may cause the plastic layer ruptures.
