Airport Fence
Airport Fence is also known as “Y-Shape security fence”. It is strengthened by the v-shaped support arm and welded mesh, security fittings and hot-dip galvanized concertina razor wire to form a high level of strength and security. Airport Fence is widely used in airports, military bases and other high security sites.
On top of the airport fence is concertina razor wire which acts as a good enhanced safety barrier. By galvanization, polyester powder coating, airport fence has very good resistance to aging. It has sun-resistant, corrosion-resistant characteristics. Airport Fence is good looking in appearance. It can have various colors and it’s not only a fencing application but a perimeter decoration. Due to its high safety, good anti-climbing ability, mesh connections using special SBS tight fastener, it effectively prevent cases of human destructive disassembly. The four horizontal bend makes the mesh strength increased significantly.
Airport Fence has a wide range of application scenarios like airports, roads, railways and bridges on either side of the isolation area, ports, docks, parks, lawns, municipal construction, zoo, hotels, supermarkets, entertainment, etc.

NOTES:
- Height: the height of the airport fence, measure from ground to the top point of razor wire.
- Width: the horizontal distance of airport fence, measure from center to center of the square post.
- Wire Thickness: diameter of the low carbon steel wire of airport fence panel.
- Mesh Size: the horizontal and vertical length of airport fence panel mesh.
- Y Shape Post: a V shape post welded on the main post, for setting up the V panel and razor wire on top.
- Clamp: special anti-UV plastic clamp for setting up the airport fence panel and post.
- Hot Dipped Galvanized: dip the airport fence fence in to a container which is full of liquid zinc, to prevent the airport fence panels from getting rusty.
- Electric Galvanized + Polyester Powder Coated: electric galvanized (zinc coating 8~12g) as a pre – surface treatment inside, polyester powder layer outside, to prevent the airport fence panels from getting rusty.
Features
Anti climb
The height of the airport fence is higher than the usual wire mesh fence, because of the razor wire on the top. If the fence panel height is 2m, the outside diameter of the concertina razor wire is 500mm, and there is a little space between the razor wire and the top of the fence panel is around 200mm, so add all together the airport fence can reach 2.7m. It is quite high for people to climb over.
High deterrent force
The airport fence is very strong with the widely used specification. The wire thickness can up to 6.0mm, you can also pick a strong post to match the panel. What’s more, plus the concertina razor wire on the top, it makes the airport fencing difficult to intrude.
V arm & razor wire
One obvious feature of the airport fence is the V arm and concertina razor wire on the top. To weld the V arm on the usual post, it makes the fence higher and it also can put the razor wire inside. Add the concertina razor wire on the top makes the airport perimeter fence higher security and stronger. So if you find the high security and hard to intrude fence, then the airport fence must be the better of the best.

High security
The airport fence is welded by the 4.0mm/5.0mm low carbon steel wire, the post is usually 60mm*60mm and add the V arm on the top, and the size of the V arm is 500mm*500mm. It is much higher than the normal wire mesh fence. What’s more, it puts concertina razor wire in the V arm, so its security will be much higher.
Good view
Because of the airport fence panels are see through panels, it will have a good view if you use the airport fencing. As its name implies, the airport fence are mostly applied in the airport. So a good view will make people have a good feeling.
Long lifetime
The common surface treatments of the airport fence are hot dipped galvanized(zinc 505g/m2), electric galvanized and polyester powder coated(all colors in Ral). All these surface treatments can protect the fence from getting rusted. It will keep the long lifetime of airport fencing. And we also provide the 10 years warranty for the hot dipped galvanized airport fence products.
Expensive
The airport fence has a high strength and security, so the price will be a little higher than the other wire mesh fence products. But it is very worthy to pay the money for a strong and nice fence like the airport fencing.
The installation of the airport fence from Skyhall Fence
There are two kinds of installation ways of the airport fence from Skyhall Fence. The first kind of installation is more difficult than the second one. It need to dig holes in the ground to pre-cast the Y post, it is difficult for the workers. And then use the metal clamps or PVC clamps with the anti-theft bolts & nuts to fixing the square wire mesh panel and the V wire mesh panel to the Y post. The last step is use the binding wire to fasten the razor wire on the V wire mesh panel. It can make the airport fence very strong and high security.The second kind of installation of the airport fence is use the steel flange plate and foundation bolts to fixing the Y post on the ground. And then use the metal clamps or PVC clamps with the anti-theft bolts & nuts to fixing the square wire mesh panel and the V wire mesh panel to the Y post. The last step is use the binding wire to fasten the razor wire on the V wire mesh panel. It can also make the airport fence very strong and high security.

Application Scenarios
The airport fence has mainly three kinds of applications:
The first application is around the airport ground to make sure the safety of the airport and people can not get across the fence to the airport.
The second application is around the prohibited military zone to make sure the military zone has high security and absolutely safety.
The third application of the airport fence is used as the barrier on the border between two countries. It can prevent the stowaway get across the border from one country to another country.

Packing of the airport fence from Skyhall Fence
Packing of airport fence post: plastic bag wrapped and loaded in container in bulk( with rain cap installed).
Packing of razor wire: packing in bundle and wrapped with waterproof paper, and then woven belt wrapped outside it. covered with Skyhall logo.
Packing of fence accessories: plastic bag + carton box (clips & screws) and then covered with Skyhall logo.
